The reader planning the month ahead with a printed guide isn't the reader checking their phone for what's on tonight. We refuse to mix them.
Each of our titles has its own voice, its own rhythm, its own editorial standards, and its own brand. The group exists so that each one can be the best version of itself for the reader it serves — without compromise, without cross-promotion, and without the dilution that comes from trying to be everything to everyone.

Compass Publishing Group is the editorial group bringing together two independent titles under one roof. Our publishing entity, Compass Magazine (康百視雜誌社), has been publishing bilingually in Taichung since 1996. 2026 marks our 30th anniversary — and a relaunch across both titles.
Our remit has grown — from a printed local guide to live digital coverage — but our discipline has not. Editorial independence is non-negotiable across every title: paid placements, sponsorships, and partner tiers never influence coverage, ratings, or selection. That separation is what makes the work worth reading.
