The reader looking for Saturday brunch in Taichung isn't the same reader as a Cincinnati procurement manager sourcing precision components from a Taichung machine shop. We refuse to mix them.
Each of our titles has its own voice, its own rhythm, its own editorial standards, and its own brand. The group exists so that each one can be the best version of itself for the reader it serves — without compromise, without cross-promotion, and without the dilution that comes from trying to be everything to everyone.

Compass Publishing Group is the editorial group bringing together three independent titles under one roof. Our publishing entity, Compass Magazine (康百視雜誌社), has been publishing bilingually in Taichung since 1996. 2026 marks our 30th anniversary — and a relaunch across all three titles.
Our remit has grown — from local lifestyle to live digital coverage to B2B industrial intelligence — but our discipline has not. Editorial independence is non-negotiable across every title. For Compass Global Magazine in particular: paid placements, sponsorships, and partner tiers never influence coverage, ratings, or selection. That separation is what makes the work worth reading.
